Design Rani is a multidisciplinary design practice founded by Raksha Srinivasan, based in Chennai, India. The studio provides global design consultancy services in the domains of architecture, interiors and urbanscape. Our portfolio focuses on hand crafted and user-centric spaces, spans residential and commercial projects across scales and cities.
The ethos of the practice is rooted in context based, sustainable and sensitive design. Empathy and collaboration drive our work. Further, the studio is style-agnostic, and instead is ever-evolving to bring our clients dreams to life. Art, handicraft and local material play a strong role in our thinking, contributing to the character in each of our spaces.

With over seven years of experience across India and the United States, Raksha brings a unique global-local design lens to the table. She founded Design Rani in 2022, to offer high-quality, personalized design. Her education in both design and management enables the practice to ensure seamless project planning and delivery.
